The gaming/nerd community is a typically white cis-male dominated space. But why is that? I know a lot of niggas that play games. My girls plays games. Shit, my gay friends play games, too!
I’ve seen gaming go from big arcade units at Kinder Care to the multi billion dollar industry it is today. So I must ask…
Where the FUCK are our stories?
And who do I mean by our? I’m talking about POC, women, LGBTQIA2s+, mentally and physically disabled - it’s a damn shame that if you try to look for insight or a podcast with these protected groups in mind, you get nothing… or you get too few.
And that’s what we hope to address with this podcast. Inclusivity in gaming, Esports, and to a lesser degree, nerd culture.
But with a twist! Cuz we is niggas.
